The Freshman Experience

The Freshman Experience (FE) is Georgia Tech’s premier first-year retention program. A comprehensive living-learning program designed to assist in the academic and social transition of Georgia Tech’s newest residents, FE encompasses activities and resources that enable first-year students to thrive.

Generally, all freshmen become part of FE, living in traditional-style residence halls and dining together to promote the greatest opportunities for student interaction and successful integration into campus life. In addition, FE sponsors various leadership and campus activity organizations like the Freshman Activities Board and the Emerging Leaders Program. For more information on FE, call 404.385.3739 or visit www.freshmanexperience.gatech.edu.
